Deep Dive V-Neck Vest

Deep Dive, a women’s V-Neck vest knitting pattern worked in the round from the bottom up. Features a lazy drop shoulder, wide ribbed hem and plunging v-neck worked in a contrast colour gradient. Level: Easy. No charts. Includes Fitting Notes so you can adjust the width and length. Suits sizes 90-170 cm (30-60 inch) bust.

You’ll be able to use with many different outfits. Comfortable and lightweight, it hugs your hips, then eases out towards the shoulders. The low armhole allows for many different under layers and can be cool enough for air conditioned rooms. Wear it to work with a slim fit shirt, knee length skirt or dress trousers. For cooler days add a turtle neck, midi or maxi skirt with boots. Go casual with a henley t-shirt, jeans and loafers for a spot of weekend shopping. Dress it up with a floaty translucent sleeve blouse. The low neck is great for showing off your favourite pendant or cowl. It’s so versatile, you might want to make it for several colour schemes.

2 fingering weight yarns. Detailed yardage is in the pattern.

MC: 550-1360 metres or 600-1490 yards
CC: 100 metres or 110 yards

4mm (US size 6) needles on a 60-100cm (24-40″) circular cable for the body.
3.5mm (US size 4) needles on a 60-100cm (24-40″) circular cable
3.25mm (US size 3) needles on a 60-100cm (24-40″) circular cable
Optional 3.75mm needles on a 60-100cm (24-40″) circular cable for a smoother transition
Optional 4mm (US size 6) needles on a 30cm (12″) circular cable for working smaller areas
Open lock stitch markers.
Approximately 80cm (32″) waste yarn for holding sts not in use.
