Koala Kid vest Knitting Pattern For Boys and Girls
Delight your favourite child with our “Koala Kid” vest knitting pattern. It’s perfect for ages 4-14 featuring an adorable Australian koala perched on a tree branch. The pattern is written in two yarn options — fingering or DK weight — so you can make it for mid season or winter. Our easy-to-follow pattern is perfect for knitters with Advanced Beginner skill level and makes a unique gift.
You’ll enjoy making this vest. It’s great for either boys or girls. The sleeveless vest is knitted back and forth in stocking stitch so, it’s easy to work one piece at a time. Then, the side seams and shoulders are sewn with bindings for the neck and armholes added last. Some basic chart reading is required. However, there are full written instructions for the charts included as well.
